Sisters Fall Festival

I really can't believe how fast summer went by and that fall is already here!

I love the fall and watching all the leaves change colors but am just not ready for summer to be coming to an end!

This weekend, Sisters, Oregon kicks off fall with their Sisters Fall Festival in Downtown Sisters!

The festival features wine tasting, arts, crafts, food and entertainment! 

There will also be a Silent Auction benefiting Sisters School District's Creative Departments.

The festival takes place Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 5PM Saturday and 10AM to 4PM Sunday. 

Munch N Movies Tomorrow Night!!

Tomorrow night is another Munch N Movies Event going on at Compass Park in Northwest Crossings!!

Tomorrow's movie is Hugo and the event starts at 6pm!!

La Pine Events This Weekend!

There are several different things going on this weekend in La Pine.

On Saturday, September 8th they have a Rodeo Day of Play, A Sportsman Gun Show and the La Pine Community Kitchen BBQ Dinner!!

 The BBQ Dinner is $10 per ticket and features live music, BBQ Ribs or Chicken with coleslaw, corn on the cob, baked potato, roll, beverage and dessert.

Mid Oregon Credit Union, North West Community Credit Union, OnPoint Community Credit Union, Selco Community Credit Union and SOFCU Community Credit Union are proud to present The 23rd Annual Great Drake Park Duck Race. The fun and festivities begin at 11:00 am on Sunday Sept.9 th 2012, at Drake Park in Bend, Oregon.

Duck Race Schedule:

11:00 am to 4:00 pm - Festivities in park--Music, Food & Activity Booths
12:00 pm -Kids Race (1,000 Ducks)
2:00 pm - Ducks Splash in - Race Start! (Galveston Bridge)
2:23 pm - Estimated time winning Ducks begin to cross the Finish Line (Mirror Pond Foot Bridge)
3:00 pm - Winners & Awards are announced at staging area in Drake Park
4:00 pm - Festivities end
